Flex Spending - LASIK FSA information

Many patients choose to use their Flexible Spending Account (FSA or FLEX PAY) for their LASIK or other vision correction procedures. Please call and speak to one of our pricing specialists about using your FSA/FLEX plan for the procedure.

• Around 90 percent of US employees work for companies who offer a Flexible Spending Account allow you to use pretax income on medical expenses not normally covered by medical insurance. Flex Spending Accounts can be used for both traditional LASIK and Wavefront enhanced Custom LASIK.
• If you are interested in using Flex Spending for LASIK with Long Island Eye Surgical Care, P.C. we encourage you to come in for an free evaluation to determine if you are a candidate for the surgery.

Please note that the IRS allows pre-tax dollars to be used to pay for refractive surgery, either through a flex care spending account or itemizations on certain individual tax returns. Please consult your tax advisor for more information.
